Letang-Bhogateni ( Nepali लेटाङ-भोगटेनी ) is a city ( municipality ) in the eastern Terai of Nepal in the Morang district .
Letang-Bhogateni is located northeast of Itahari at the foot of the Siwaliks . The city was created at the end of 2014 by merging the Village Development Committees Bhogateni and Letang . The urban area covers 134.8 km².
Residents
In the 2011 census, the VDCs, from which the city of Letang-Bhogateni emerged, had 23,907 inhabitants (10,695 of them male) in 5,472 households.
