Amtix! magazine was, as its subtitle stated, a "monthly software review for the Amstrad computers". Published by Newsfield Publications Ltd in the mid eighties.

Lifetime

Amtix! ran from November 1985 to April 1987 and produced 18 issues in total. A special issue (Issue zero) was given away with Zzap!64 and CRASH, two of Newsfield's other publications.

After issue 18, the title was merged with Computing With The Amstrad magazine and the Amtix! logo appeared in CWTA's games review section.

Cover Art

Like sister publications, Zzap!64 and Crash, Amtix! had very distinctive, comic-style cover art, drawn by Oliver Frey.
