Menomaru is a fictional character from the InuYasha anime appearing as the main villain of the first movie InuYasha the Movie: Affections Touching Across Time. He is voiced by Seki Tomokazu in the Japanese version, and Vincent Gale in the English version. He is an anime only character.

Menomaru is a moth-yōkai and the son of Hyoga. During the battle with InuYasha's father he was sealed away for two hundred years, until a shard of the Shikon no Tama set him free. He sought to free his father's dormant powers. By tricking InuYasha, who used his Kaze no Kizu to break the seal, Menomaru was able to absorb all of his father's powers. Using The Tree of Ages, (a tree related to and growing from the Bone Eaters Well), he sent his moths to collect the souls of every living thing in the area. Even his own henchman's souls were collected, after being defeated by Miroku and Sango. Once all the souls were collected, he became gigantic with moths wings and demons sprang forth from them to destroy all living things. Yet, in the final hour, Kagome was able to shoot her sacred arrow at his forehead. Combined with InuYasha's Backlash Wave, Menomaru was finally destroyed.

Menomaru also mocks InuYasha being coupled with Kagome. He mentions that humans are "disgusting creatures that turned your (referring to InuYasha) kind into spine-less weaklings".
