Summary of Video games WikiProject open tasks:

This article was listed on votes for deletion; see Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/Yeti Sports. —No-One Jones (m) 03:03, 6 Dec 2004 (UTC)

There's more history listed here in case anyone wants to bring some of that info into this article. --Interiot 03:34, 23 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I'm removing the importance tag, for these reasons:

  • a VfD was held, and linked above, and a number of people voted Keep
  • some basic google searches reveal wide popularity: "bloody pengu": 138k, "pingu throw": 90k, "yetisports": 1160k
  • several game releases spun off of it, and are noted on various review sites [1]

High scores

The high scores are surely too specific and anyhow out of date by now. 81.155.44.76 22:06, 18 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, removed. --Interiot 00:13, 19 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Who came up with the highscore of 1840 in "Albatross Overload"? In the original game on yetisports.org the longest distance ever flown in a verifiale way was 1782.

High scores seem to have been put back in, I removed them again with some other general cleanup. Heliomance 14:24, 19 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • I think the high scores should be removed as unverifiable. Last night I scored 487 on Seal Bounce, for example, and I really doubt that's the highest anyone has ever gone. 68.146.41.17 20:08, 25 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    • I removed the Seal Bounce record. It's completely unverifiable, I personally have done higher, and the more violent variant is set to allow scores north of 1000. 68.146.8.46 18:59, 4 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
