The '''Battle of Sarus''' was a Roman victory, this feirce battle had followed many grim and brutal fights which brought the Roman empire to it fall,here the Eastern Roman Emperor (or 'Byzantine Emperor') Heraclius was preparing his army back in Europe,the Sassiands took advantage of the kings departure and started to loot and raid however,Heraclius arrived in asia pushing the Sassiand back they arrived at Sarus were the battle was fought their the Romans lost a heavy amount of soliders and the remaining Persians fled in good order the Romans lost so many soliders that it became a ''pyrrhic'' victory that they were force to go back to constantinople were they remained to protect it from the next invasion of Seige of Constantinople.
