The Reverse Jewell Squid, Histioteuthis reversa, is a species of cock-eyed squid. It occurs in both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans; it has been recorded off the coasts of Canada, Japan, Madeira,[1] Namibia,[2] New Zealand, Spain, Suriname, and the United States.[3]

H. reversa grows to 19 cm in mantle length.[2]
