Zhang Wenkang (simplified Chinese: 张文康; traditional Chinese: 張文康; pinyin: Zhāng Wénkāng; born 1940 in Nanhui, Shanghai) was the health minister of China[1] during the SARS outbreak[2] who was sacked for mishandling the matter.[3]
Zhang was a supporter of former President Jiang Zemin. After he was fired, he was placed in various ceremonial positions.
