The [[population density]] is 18.5/km&sup2; (48.0/mi&sup2;). There are 950 housing units at an average density of 10.5/km&sup2; (27.2/mi&sup2;). The racial makeup of the township is 97.62% [[White (U.S. Census)|White]], 0.77% [[African American (U.S. Census)|African American]], 0.48% [[Native American (U.S. Census)|Native American]], 0.00% [[Asian (U.S. Census)|Asian]], 0.00% [[Pacific Islander (U.S. Census)|Pacific Islander]], 0.00% from [[Race (U.S. Census)|other races]], and 1.13% from two or more races. 1.37% of the population are [[Hispanic (U.S. Census)|Hispanic]] or [[Latino (U.S. Census)|Latino]] of any race.
