Genuity is currently an umbrella brand from Monsanto to cover its genetically modified products.[1] Previously, the name was used for a web hosting business owned by Bechtel[2], which was then sold to the ISP business under GTE[3] and later spun off as an independent company.[4] The company was acquired by and operated under Level 3 Communications between 2002[5] and 2003, when Level 3 exited the hosting business.[6]
