Adrian Gonzales (born May 8, 1982 in San Diego) is a Major League Baseball outfielder and first baseman for the San Diego Padres. He was the first overall pick in the 2000 draft by the Florida Marlins. He played for the Texas Rangers in 2004 and 2005. He also is expected to start the 2006 season as the Padres first baseman.
