Daniel Astrain Egozkue was a Spanish footballer. He was born in Pamplona, Navarra, Spain on March 29, 1948. He played in the defense position.
Career
Club
He grew up Oberen, was purchased by 'Athletic Bilbao, which does begin with the reserve squad in the season 1969-1970. Two years later he was "promoted" to the first team, making his debut in Primera División on the 16 January 1972 on the Espanyol-Athletic 1-2. Milita then for eight seasons with the Rojiblancos', competing in 222 games (182 in the league) and winning a Spain Cup.
It has a presence with the Basque Country national football team.
