El País (meaning "the country") is the leading newspaper company in the Pacific region of Colombia. Its headquarters are located in Cali. The corporation is owned by the Lloreda family of Cali, long a prominent family of the Pacific region of Colombia.
El País is a member of the Periódicos Asociados Latinoamericanos (Latin American Newspaper Association), an organization of fourteen leading newspapers in South America.
