Torreperogil is a small town of 7,500 people in Andalucia, Spain. The town is about 15 minutes away from Úbeda. It retains some fame for its use of the exclamatory phrase "¡Bárcia!". Perhaps the most widely visited spots in Torreperogil are El Paso, Los Pinos, El Prado, La Torre Oscura, and Botellon. La Torre Oscura is the old part of the town, with older architecture. It is also the location of several non-permanent events.

In the municipal elections in 2003, the majority of seats were won by the United Left party.
