On 13th July 1917 Dr. Mackay was given permission to found the Anglo-Peruvian School which, after rapid growth, became Colegio Anglo-Peruano on May 12th 1919. Because of legal requirements during the Second World War the name of the school was changed to the one it bears to this day, Colegio San Andrés. Since 1930 the school has been on its present site at Avenida Du Petit Thouars 179, Santa Beatriz, Lima.
