Raquel Martínez-Gómez (born 1973) is a Spanish writer. She was born in La Mancha, Albacete. She studied at the University of Sussex and the Complutense University of Madrid where she obtained her doctorate. Having spent time in Mexico, she currently lives in Uruguay.
She is best known for her novel Sombras de unicornio (Shadows of the unicorn) which won the EU Prize for Literature.[1]
