He has directed over 40 movies for television. He won best director for James Clavell's "SHOGUN" a twelve hour miniseries for NBC.He also directed ten other Miniseries including the acclaimed "SCARLET AND THE BLACK" With Gregory Peck and "ELLIS iSLAND' with Richard Burton,"CHIEFS'With Charlton Heston.
