The Suk Trio is a Czech piano trio founded in 1951. The original members were Josef Suk, Julius Katchen, and Janos Starker.
They made their debut on March 5 in Prague. The permanent member of the ensemble was Josef Suk, the grandson of the composer of the same name, whose name the trio chose for its name.
The pianist that played the longest with the group was Jan Panenka, and the principal cellist was Josef Chuchro.
