Sir Herman David Weber FRCP[1] (30 December 1823 – 11 November 1918) was a German physician who practised medicine in England. Weber's syndrome is named after him.[2] Weber was an avid coin collector, and assembled a significant collection of Greek coins.[3] He was awarded the medal of the Royal Numismatic Society in 1905. His son, Frederick Parkes Weber, was also a physician and coin collector.
