The Association of Netherlands Municipalities (Dutch: Vereniging van Nederlandse Gemeenten or VNG) was established in 1912 and is located in The Hague. It represents the interests of all 443 Dutch municipalities vis-a-vis central government and it delivers many services to all Dutch municipalities that are member on a complete voluntary base.
