Dorel Vișan (Romanian pronunciation: [doˈrel viˈʃan]; born 25 June 1937)[1] is a Romanian actor.[2][3] He has appeared in 65 films since 1974. He was nominated for the award of Best Actor at the 1988 European Film Awards.[4]

In 1965 he graduated from the Caragiale Academy of Theatrical Arts and Cinematography in Bucharest. After graduating, he was hired as an actor at the Cluj-Napoca National Theatre.
