Archive

I've gone and archived that abomination of a talk page. This is a talk page for the article, not a forum for discussion. Please pay attention to WP:NOT#FORUM. That means only discussion on improving the article belongs here. Not "OMG I LOOK LIEK VANESSA!" Please take the fan girl discussion else where, thanks. -Sukecchi 16:01, 10 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Need it?

Do we really need the "disneychannel.com has put a poll." section? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 68.122.218.191 (talk) 03:18, 11 February 2007 (UTC).[reply]

I think it's pretty usesless, it doesn't deserve a whole section. Dadan121 23:18, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merged it with Production. As a mention, it's notable. how many productions let people vote for what happens before filming, after all? :) -- Ipstenu (talk|contribs) 23:40, 11 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I think it's very useful. -- — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.186.247.60 (talk)

I think it was useful when it gave details on what sort of things were decided but as this was removed, it definately did not deserve a full section. Good idea on merging the sections ;) Slayer2004C 19:00, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

New contracts?

I think a credible source is needed to back up the claim that the three cast members signed new contracts; NY Post is highly unreliable and def. not a recommended/credible source. Storched 02:21, 20 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You are correct - this is not true at all. You might want to check out the site Tommy2.Net. Last year it featured more original audio interviews with the cast than any other place. Several stories regarding HSM have been broke on the site as well. http://tommy2.net/content/?p=1358 Binhexboy 19:07, 19 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Will someone please fix this? If you would like contact information for two of the three people involved I can get you it to confirm the facts. The news is only cited by one source which is TMZ.com, not necessarily the most accurate for newsworth infomation. Also, one with little to no coverage on High School Musical. There's is a second reference to the New York Times but no page to verify. Binhexboy 21:01, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What is up with that picture?

It looks like somone took the concert photo and edited in Zac Efron (who looks like a paper doll in that one). —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Snoborder93 (talkcontribs) 02:15, 3 March 2007 (UTC).[reply]

I think that it was on the Disney Channel website before. Or so i've been told... (Slayer2004C 07:37, 5 March 2007 (UTC))[reply]

Yes, that picture is from one of the photos of him for the first High School Musical. I heard Zac was too busy filming his other movie when they took the picture. 69.219.160.227 14:17, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Who is Trever Bolton?

I saw in the Internet Movie Database that there is going to be a Trever Bolton. (I saw earlier someone said that site wasn't reliable?) Anyway, does anyone know who that is? He is supposedly played by Matthew Miles Carter who was also a basketball dancer in HSM 1. Is this true? 69.219.160.227 14:30, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

IMDb doesn't always fact check, which is why they're not 100% reliable. And we'll be best served by waiting till Disney releases cast info about who our myster 'Trevor' is. - Ipstenu (talk|contribs) 14:35, 7 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If there is a Trever Bolton, it has to be a relative of Troy, since that's his last name. But like the person above me said, it might be a mislead. Abcw12 05:02, 13 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cristina Vidal and Raven Symone

  • According to the Washington Post and Christina Vidal's website, She along with Raven Symone will have cameos as waiters in the movie. This was just announced.— Preceding unsigned comment added by LAUGH90 (talkcontribs)

Can you give us a link before you add this again? I can't even find Vidal's website... -- Ipstenu (talk|contribs) 20:39, 14 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If it's just a cameo appearance, why does it even need to be mentioned? -Sukecchi 15:15, 15 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
