Song

Destroy Everything You Touch is a single from the electropop band Ladytron. It is the 2nd single from their 3rd album, Witching Hour. It reached a position of #42 on the UK Singles Chart, the highest position a Ladytron single has reached to date. The song was written by Daniel Hunt.

Music Video

The music video shows the members of Ladytron hiking through a mountain range, facing various hazards such as two-legged creatures attempting to attack them, and having frosty wind blown at them by faces in the mountains (which are the members of Ladytron, with makeup added to them to make their skin look covered with snow and ice).

Reception

"Destroy Everything You Touch" was generally well-received by critics. Musiccomh states that "Destroy Everything You Touch has a real sense of passion lurking beneath the surface. It's as catchy as hell too, with that relentless chorus effortlessly burying its way into the listener's brain." Hmv Digital comments that it "is serenely beautiful at times and noisy and disturbing at others; just like all the best records should be."
