Recycled Koopa

Recycled Koopa is the twenty-fourth episode of The Adventures of Super Mario Bros. 3.

Synopsis

Bowser orders the Koopalings to pick up the garbage around the castle. Being lazy, they deposit into a warp pipe that leads to Princess Peach's castle, which spreads through the entire Mushroom Kingdom. Mario and the others soon find the source, and decide to steal a Koopa Kid's magic wand to send it back to Kastle Koopa. After arriving at the castle, Mario steals Iggy's wand. Mario find Super Leaves that he and the others use to gain Raccoon Power and fly back to Peach's castle, while they avoid getting blasted by the Doomship. Mario uses the wand to send the garbage (as well as the Doomship), back to Kastle Koopa.

Although the Mushroom Kingdom is back to normal, Mario spies on the Koopas, only to see that Sledge Bros. are just tossing the garbage down another pipe. Mario and Luigi go to investigate, and when they go down the other pipe, it warps them to Brooklyn. Not only is the Koopa garbage spreading throughout their hometown, but it's turning people everywhere into Koopa-zombies (hypnotic people that resemble Bowser). Meanwhile, the Koopas are watching everything from the Doomship, where Bowser gets the idea to make the zombies his slaves.

The Bros. attempt to clean up all the garbage, but Bowser orders the zombies to stop them. After a chase sequence, the Bros. finally ditch the zombies. But now, Mario is slowly starting to turn into a Koopa-zombie himself. The Bros. manage to build a vehicle called the Trash Smasher, but in the end, Mario becomes completely zombified. Luigi uses the Trash Smasher to recycle all the garbage into into practical goods, which turns everyone back to normal. Bowser tries to pollute the city with more garbage, but the Marios fly after him in the Trash Smasher.

Trivia/Goofs

This episode was the subject of the very first YouTube Poop, made by user SuperYoshi in December 2004. It was first released on Sheezyart as "The Adventures of Super Mario Bros 3 Remixed!" but is now on Youtube as "I'd Say He's Hot on our Tail" & and it's also part of Super Mario Comedy 1 & 6
When Bowser leaves the Koopalings to pick up the trash, Roy's head quickly jumps behind his back for one frame.
When Bowser leaves his castle to get Iggy's wand back, all the trash is already back at his castle.
The giant garbage ball that hits Bowser's Doomship causes him to land back at his castle, however, it should have really landed back at the Mushroom Kingdom.
