Hálfdanar saga Brönufóstra c. 1300 is a legendary saga on Halfdan the son of the legendary king Hringr of Denmark.

In the saga Halfdan flees his fatehr's kingdom after an attack by the viking Soti, and lives in exile in Permia. Later he is shipwrecked on the shore of Helluland (Baffin Island?) where he is fostered by a troll-woman named Brana. Later he goes to England and Scotland and has various adventures. Halfdan rescues the three children of the king of Scotland. He also wins the love of the daughter of the English king Óláfr and succeeds him when he dies.

It has a sequel in Sörla saga sterka.
