Learn To Read is an adult educational TV series that consists of 30 programs, hosted by Wally Amos. Co-instructors include Doris Biscoe and Charlotte Scot. In every episode a "Getting Along" segment is used, instructing Sylvia Glover and Jim Johnson. Originally produced by WXYZ-TV in Detroit, Michigan (as based on the Michigan Method), the show is produced in 1987 by Kentucky Educational Television and E.W. Scripps Company. While episodes originally consist of a 6-week daily course, WNET still airs this program in the same original 6-week daily course.
