Jace Everett

Jace Everett is an American country music singer/songwriter.

Biography

Early life

Jace was born in Evansville, Indiana. His father's jobs kept them on the move though; Indianapolis, Indiana Carmel, and then St. Louis, Missouri before moving to Ft. Worth, Texas at the age of six. While in Texas, Jace learned about his country music roots in church. He started playing country music in his church and in school concerts. Growing up, he had musical heroes such as Willie Nelson and Waylon Jennings, but also developed a love of Blues, Gospel, and rock and roll. He later moved to Nashville, Tennessee to attend Belmont University. After dropping out of Belmont, Jace flew to Europe to play for a cover band.

Professional music career

In 2005, Everett was signed to Epic Records. Jace released his first single, "That's The Kind Of Love I'm In" in June 2005. It was followed by the release of his eponymous debut album.
