Welcome!

Hello, Lmabbott, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date.

Wikipedia is not a medium for advertising, and I have reverted some of your edits to Accordance. In particular, it was not appropriate to remove all external links other than those to the developer's site.

I would also encourage you to complete the edit summary just above the "save" button, as this gives other editors some idea of the changes you made.

If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!  —Fayenatic london (talk) 21:51, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Jewish and Christian verse numberings

I noticed that you quoted from OakTree Software's web site. If you are associated with the company, please could you ask a knowledgeable person to contribute to the discussion at Talk:Chapters and verses of the Bible#Question about different numberings? If anyone would know, it would be someone at OakTree. - Fayenatic london (talk) 22:04, 6 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Accordance

Why are you turning the article Accordance from an encyclopedia article about a program into an advert for a company? It is now liable to be speedily deleted as blatant advertising. Since when do encyclopedia articles include sentences like "We believe that being the best entails the following"? And what was wrong with the section on Features, which you deleted?

If you are serious about contributing to Wikipedia, please explain the reasons for your changes. One place to do this is the edit summary just above the Save button, every time you make a change. Please also take the opportunities for longer explanation/discussion on user talk pages (here) or on article discussion pages (such as this one). - Fayenatic london (talk) 17:59, 9 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
