Template:Infobox Administrative Division 1 Balkh (Persian: بلخ) is one of the thirty-four provinces of Afghanistan. It is in the north of the country. Its capital is Mazari Sharif. Tajiks make up the majority of the province, followed by Pashtuns, Uzbak and Hazara.
