Your GA nomination of Rhee Taekwon-Do

Hello, I just wanted to introduce myself and let you know I am glad to be reviewing the article Rhee Taekwon-Do you nominated for GA-status according to the criteria. This process may take up to 3 days. Feel free to contact me with any questions or comments you might have during this period. VanTucky (talk) 23:26, 29 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your timely counterpoint to the FAC discussion. I can't help but think it was the clincher for the promotion.Peter Rehse 04:28, 31 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Moo Duk Kwan Article

Good afternoon,

I just wanted to clear up any confusion regarding the potential of "copy and paste" within the Moo Duk Kwan article. Just thought I'd let you know that all of my facts came from either the History of the Moo Duk Kwan by Hwang Kee or Instructor Certification Study Guides provided by the U.S. Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan Federation, Inc.

Also, I'm really not sure what "TW" is.

Thanks for understanding.

STOP LYING ON WIKIPEDIA.

We all know you come here to spread your dishonesty about TRUE JUJUTSU by spewing BJJ Bullshit and its never ending marketing and propaganda. However, there are some of us who do know the truth and legitimate history about Japanese Jujutsu. If you want to talk your bullshit, then go to the site where the other children hangout in which you say you are a member of -- ie - bullshido.net. You fully belong there. But you obviously have no idea as to what you are talking about concerning Jujutsu whatsoever. You have repeatedly vandalized this page and others as well. If you continue to do so, I will be see to it that all posts from your IP Address be logged and removed immediately due to your blatant disrespect for this website!! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 01110111zeroone (talkcontribs) 22:32, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Jujutsu

My thought is, unless someone supplies the IPA pronunciation using proper IPA symbols, there is no need for a pronunciation lesson, especially an informal one. Further, I am aware of no justification for ever pronouncing じゅう (jū) as "jyoo". It is also incorrect to provide "jits" as the pronunciation of 術. 術 may properly be pronounced either as じゅつ (jutsu) or じつ (jitsu), so choosing to indicate one pronunciation over the other is improper. The "u" on the end is (sometimes) devoiced as informally indicated with the use of "jits", but I still don't see how this is helpful - if someone wants to learn about pronunciation nuances of Japanese, there is a very thorough article at Japanese language. Kendo Spam

Hi - I was wondering why you thought Kendo - The Japan Guide was spam? It seems an interesting article. jmcw 10:01, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OK - the guy was clearly adding links all over the place but the ezine behind it seemed ok - maybe if he had added it to the kendo article ... jmcw 11:54, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why did you remove jujitsu america link?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Danzan_Ryu I placed a link for one of the biggest organizations in the United States for Danzan-ryu jujitsu, why did you remove it?

Looks like you have a history of good posts on wikipedia, am checking into reporting you now. User5802 21:22, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Why do you allow external links to other websites in the judo article?

Nate1481 you removed my external link to one of the biggest Danzan-ryu Jujitsu organizations in the US, but you don't seem to have a problem with there being a link to http://www.kodokan.org/ on the judo article. What is the deal? User5802 22:44, 7 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'll answer, since he doesn't seem to be around. You added a link, on a page about a person, to a page that as far as I can tell doesn't mention the person's name anywhere. Whereas the other link is to a page about the person, and he methods, etc. Unlike your link, it is directly related to the subject of the article, whereas your link is to a page that is only slightly related. STOP VANDALIZING WIKIPEDIA!

Mr. Nate1481 -

You have repeatedly posted everything from completely inaccurate information to mainstream marketing propaganda to 100% DISHONEST information. From the look of the other messages left on your comments page, it seems as if other individuals feel completely the same. You seem to pick and choose what YOU seem to think fits best for certain pages (specifically, the Jujutsu page). You have clearly stated that you are NOT an authority or highly educated about any kind of authentic Jujutsu beyond the teachings of your obviously uneducated "style". Just because you personally don't understand something, doesn't give you the right to change this page and alter it at will to suit the needs of your very limited education on this subject. You stated in a message to me that you don't personally see the need for certain explanations including pronunciation of the word Jujutsu being CORRECTLY pronounced as "jyuu-jits" and NOT "joo-jit-soo", the truth about BJJ and its origins being that of Kosen Judo and NOT Kodokan Judo (which they are and you are obviously unaware of), and the CORRECT description of Jujutsu being that of projection (throwing), immobilization techniques (joint-locking, strangulating, pinning) and in some cases armament tactics (hiden buki waza -- "unseen weaponry tactics" or "hidden weapons").

Point being, you have made it abundantly clear that you are NOT EDUCATED in this field as much as you'd like to think you are. Because of this, your altering of this page in any way whatsoever spreads dishonesty and inaccuracy to its utmost. So, if you'd like to spew incorrect retarded babble, go do it where the other uneducated folk go -- bullshido.net That's a perfect place for you. You can talk all the nonsense you like and completely be supported by the other 15 yr olds that hang out there. No one there is educated and they all like to talk BJJ garbage while they continue to hide behind the propaganda that you seem to justify yourself with as well.

However, if you're going to remain here, you need to do at least a LITTLE research first. For god's sake, read a book about the topic. Or go to e-budo and ask around there. They will tell you the same. You are EXTREMELY WRONG in your information and you seem to pride yourself on your stupidity as well as smile on your selectivity as to which type of propaganda you see fit to be here.

THIS PAGE IS FOR TRUE JUJUTSU. It comes from Japan. NOT Brazil, NOT the United States, and NOT Europe. Although there are many off shoots today, there is one original home for this art. This page is about THAT TOPIC -- NIHONGO JUJUTSU -- Japanese Jujutsu!! Not your UK wannabe "jujitsu" crap.
