Volvo B57 with Alexander Y Type body

Volvo B57 was a front-engined single-deck bus built by Volvo between 1960s and 1980s. It was equipped with the Volvo TD70-series engine.

Volvo B57 could be built in 3 different wheelbase lengths: 5 metres (B57-50), 5.5 metres (B57-55) and 6 metres (B57-60).

This vehicle was rare in the UK. Singapore Bus Services introduced them in the 1980s, and upon their retirement were eventually sold to Ireland and New Zealand. Replace It successful by Volvo B58 In 1981.
