Townsville Grammar School is an independent, co-educational, day and boarding school, located in Townsville, Queensland, Australia.

Established in 1888, it is the most northern member of the Grammar School system in Queensland, and is the oldest co-educational school on the Australian mainland.

School Badge

The School Badge was designed in 1902 by a Sydney architect. The background represents the Southern Cross, with the Three Turrets set on the Rock of Christianity, surrounded by the sea of Plenty. The central turret symbolises spiritual values, while the two side turrets represent intellectual and sporting values.

The Latin text on the badge reads "Bonus intra melior exi", literally "Come in good, go out better".

Annandale Campus

The Annandale campus of TGS is commonly known as the "Townsville Grammar Junior School", and teaches from preparatory to grade 6, with an Early Learning Pre-Prep Centre currently under construction and due for completion in 2008. North Ward Campus

The North Ward campus holds home to the TGS Senior and Middle Schools, and is situated in the seaside suburb of North Ward in Townsville.

Senior School

The Senior School at TGS hosts grades 10-12.

Middle School

The Middle School at TGS hosts grades 7-9.
