Lord Chaos is a fictional comic book character, and a cosmic entity in the Marvel Universe. The entity embodies disarray and confusion and is the opposing force to "brother" entity Master Order. The character first appeared in Marvel Two-In-One Annual #2 (1977), and was created by Jim Starlin.

The entity is rarely seen in the Marvel Universe and only appears in tandem with Master Order. Instances include prompting Spider-Man to solicit the Thing and join the first war against the Titan Thanos; [1] observing King of the Norse Gods Odin and master villain Dormammu play chess; [2] joining the others cosmic deities in a bid to stop Thanos when he wielded the Infinity Gauntlet and later attending a cosmic trial regarding the artifact; [3] disciplining their servant the In-Betweener; [4] speaking with cosmic hero Quasar [5] and battling Thanos once more in an alternate universe when he possesses the Heart of the Universe.
