Panama (ad system)

A {{prod}} template has been added to the article Panama (ad system), suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. If you endorse deletion of the article, and you are the only person who has made substantial edits to the page, please tag it with {{db-author}}. Deiz talk 14:54, 4 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Scrolling references/notes

Hi there. I notice you changed the reference/notes sections on Singapore and Los Angeles, California to scrolling style. However, this is not encouraged as it causes all sorts of problems in readability, accessibility, printing, and site mirroring and it is not guaranteed to work in all browsers. The relevant guideline can be found here. Thanks. Green Giant 22:01, 10 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your telling me this. Noted. Angcr (talk) 06:30, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Western Islands Planning Area

I suggested and placed your hook on the next DYK update. I am concerned that someone may want to merge the article with Jurong Island. Your article is interesting, however. Archtransit (talk) 17:56, 1 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, noted. I doubt merging the article with Jurong Island will be a good idea. There are still some islands in the Western Island Planning Area that is not part of Jurong Island Angcr (talk) 12:00, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
If there is indeed such a suggestion made, please do inform us. It makes zero sense to merge the two when Jurong Island is just one island out of plenty others in the Western Island Planning Area, dominant as it may be.--Huaiwei (talk) 15:20, 13 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed. However, I don't exactly know what the other islands are. Angcr (talk) 06:29, 20 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Marina Bay Financial Centre artist impression.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 13:39, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I think the problem has been resolved. Angcr (talk) 13:16, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Changes to list of tallest buildings in Singapore

Each of the formats will have their own pros and cons. The ones used in the examples you cite has the advantage of being asthetically pleasing, but do note that they can cause huge white spaces to appear should any larger screen sizes and/or resolution cause the tables to expand horizontally, causing the graphics to overrun the tables by varying degrees depending on screen size/resolution. There is no foolproof way of preventing this from happening using that format. The format I introduced is based on National airlines, and while it prevents users from viewing all graphics immediately, has the advantage of actually showing more clickable images on screen. The disadvantage is that it can take much longer to load on slower systems.--Huaiwei (talk) 13:07, 5 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, noted. I have increased the size of the images, to make it more visible to viewers. Thank you. Angcr (talk) 13:08, 11 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
