Omar Bin Sulayman (full name: Omar Mohammed Ahamad Bin Sulayman) is the Governor of the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) in Dubai. He has a doctorate in leadership from the United States. [citation needed]Also, he served as the chief executive officer of Dubai Internet City (2002-2004) and then as a director general of the Dubai International Financial Centre Authority (2004-2006) before he was appointed in his current position. He led the development and launch of the first regional international financial exchange, the Dubai International Financial Exchange (DIFX).
