Ben Affleck

Yes I was aware my edit to the page on Ben Affleck removed some text. It was clearly an April Fool's prank since it said he died in 1943, it was mildly amusing but not appropriate for an encyclopedia. 193.128.87.36 (talk) 15:14, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Oops, I just realised my mistake, it was an actual page about someone else with a similar name, my bad. Thanks for tidying up my mistake. My brain clearly isn't on full power today. 193.128.87.36 (talk) 15:15, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm devastated

You don't care who I am? I'm crushed. I'm hurt. I'm in tears.  :) I actually don't care about his WP:3RR violations, I care about his racist edits. They're disgusting. OrangeMarlin Talk• Contributions 20:45, 1 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Gayelle

Hi! You speedily deleted Gayelle (lesbian) but neglected to close the ongoing AfD at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Gayelle (lesbian). I've closed that. Just an FYI =D -- SatyrTN (talk / contribs) 01:42, 3 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Wally Phillips

Updated DYK query On 3 April, 2008, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Wally Phillips, which you created or substantially expanded. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.

Jo Wiltshire

With all due respect, I can easily create an article on myself and establish suitable notability for inclusion; I feel that's exactly what this person has done. Only other edit was a nearly contentless nanostub on a book she wrote and published via a vanity press outlet. If you feel it's sutable for AfD, I'd like to request that you propose it as such if you wouldn't mind. It's been a long time since I've nominated an article and I'm unfamiliar with the new procedure. Thanks. --PMDrive1061 (talk) 21:46, 5 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unblocking

I'll unblock assuming good faith and I'll keep an eye on him/her. I need to go really soon though and I won't be around again until about midnight UTC, so don't hesitate to reblock if it is just a spammer. Thanks for the note. James086Talk | Email 13:57, 7 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I've unblocked and now I must depart. Have a good one, James086Talk | Email 14:03, 7 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Outing Riley

Just a quick note to say I deleted your prod at Outing Riley and added WP:RS citations. :-) Seems like Steve really was in that film too, at least according to IMDB. Nobody of Consequence (talk) 05:05, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Greg, I ran across your categorization by counties in California for {{reqphoto}} and this template. First of all, I think it's a great idea, and I'm slowly working on making Category:Wikipedia requested photographs in Illinois the same. However, wouldn't it be easier/possible to make the template a general template for use on all states, rather than just California? Jauerbackdude?/dude. 14:26, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I was toying with that idea. However, both the phrase "California counties" and the link to the Table of California counties do not repeat for each state. Also, my thinking was that each state WikiProject might want to revise their own "instructions for requested photographs in (state)" template. With Georgia WikiProject, we successfully modified their talk page template so that they no longer need {{reqphoto}}. I would be happy to do that for Illinois. currently reviewing Steve Dahl. i will definitely suggest some points in order to improve Weber-Stephen Products Co.. cheers, Sushant gupta (talk) 18:15, 8 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Dahl GA stuff

I added references in the places requested, what's left is to expand the lead and the music career section (or merge music into the lead somehow). Update: I went ahead and merged music into the introduction as the reviewer suggested. When you get a chance, have a look and let me know what you think. Page Deletion Query

You recently deleted a userpage, claiming the page was full of advertising. I always thought that the user pages were designed for a little bit of knowledge about yourself. After browsing other user pages, which had the same written based content as my deleted page did, I ask you...why did you delete my page when there are plenty of other pages containing much worse content and are still up?

(PS. the page you deleted on the 9th April was called user:UniverSearleStudios —Preceding unsigned comment added by DJS92 (talkcontribs) 14:41, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Template:HowtoreqphotoinUS

Hi Jauerback. I took your suggestion and made a general request photo template for use on all states, rather than just California. The template is at Template:HowtoreqphotoinUS. Examples of its use are at Boone County and Los Angeles. Since you are an admin, I could use your help to edit Template:WikiProject Illinois to add image location requests as I did for Template:WikiProject California and some other state WikiProjects. I'll contact you when I have the code ready for Template:WikiProject Illinois. Thanks. GregManninLB (talk) 21:13, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
