Koodal is a village in Pathanamthitta District, located in Kerala state, India.

Koodal is Located on the Main Eastern Highway ( Punalur-Pathanamthitta-Muvattupuzha Road / SH - 08 ) between Konni and Pathanapuram.

As any other village in Kerala, Koodal has its own speciality. It is filled by Rubber trees. People are very open as well as very simple in their expressions. A mixed population of Hindu, Muslim Christians are there living in harmony. Most of the peoplke are educated. Almost all the inhabitants of this village are settelers there due to the introduction of Rubber plantations; mainly by the Plantatiopn corporation of Kedrala And the A.V. Thomas and company. It belongs to the Kalanjoor Panchayath.It is really beautiful due to its small hills and paddy fields.
