Population figures

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! You are changing the population figures for a number of communities. You have changed 2000 census to 2007 census; in one you changed a link from from United States 2000 census to read United States 2007 census. As indicated by the redlink, there is no article for a 2007 census, as there was no census in 2007. If you are changing the figures to census estimates, please reflect that and provide a cite or link to the relevant website. It might also be best to leave infoboxes as they are (which typically contain the figures from the actual census, not estimates), and mention new census estimates in the article text. 2007 est

A {{prod}} template has been added to the article 2007 est, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but the article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice explains why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may contest the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page. Also, please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. I suggest that you provide a link for this data, a reference. Also you could try putting it into a table format which would look a lot better and would meet Wikipedia standards. Help:Table has useful information. I would also suggest moving the article to a page such as 2007 USA population estimates Happy editing. Woodym555 20:53, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Vancouver climate

Thanks for adding climate data to Vancouver. However, you could use {{Infobox Weather}} for climate data. It provides a uniform layout, as it is used in other cities of Canada and the US, plus it does automatic unit conversion. --Qyd 16:50, 10 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I reverted the table for a few reasons. 1)it needs to have metric information, same as the rest of the article 2) it messed up the formatting for the subsequent section 3) the data doesn't match Environment Canada data 4) there is already a table in the daughter article. Just my opinion, but I don't think this is necessary for the main Vancouver article because it's already pretty large. If you disagree and feel it should be included, I won't object; you can retrieve the table from the article's history, but if you do, please address these issues. Hobart climate

Why did you go and change the climate figures from metric to imperial units? Hobart is in Australia and Australia has been metric for 35 years. It has quite correctly been reverted by another user. Jim77742 01:39, 23 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
