History
The establishment of the campus was initiated in Congress by Cong. Salacnib Baterina in 1999. His law is known as Republic Act 9036.
After the PSHS System Board of Trustees approved its establishment, via a resolution, in February, 2002, the local government of San Ildefonso in Ilocos Sur, donated a 5-hectare land for the construction of the earliest buildings of the school. The land was later inspected by Sec. Uriarte for safety reasons.
The school opened with its first batch of 33 students from various parts of Region 1, and 6 teachers on July 14, 2003. To a school with such small population, the 2 available buildings in the Campus that time wasn't a very big problem. However in the years to come, it will be.
As of March 31, 2008, 64 students graduated from the school. (Batch 2007: 33 graduates, Batch 2008: 31 graduates)
