Earth's Special Forces (more popularly known as ESF) is a modification for the popular first-person shooter Half-Life that is based on the popular Japanese manga/anime, Dragon Ball Z.

Gameplay

Just like Half-Life, a player can choose to play from a group of different servers, ranging from Free For All mode, and Team Deathmatch. After joining a server, a player has the choice to select his/her desired character. There is a power level meter, a HP meter, and a box that shows images of the character's different attacks. Every character has their own transformation, which can be achieved by reaching the required power level. Similar to the anime, once a character transforms, he or she is granted higher capabilities, such as speed, attack power, increased HP, and defense. Each character can fly, power up, and jump around the map. The mouse and keyboard are used for attacking and maneuvering, respectfully.

Playable Characters

In Earth's Special Forces, eleven playable characters are featured from the anime/manga, Dragon Ball Z.

Goku
Vegeta
Gohan
Frieza
Cell
Krillin
Piccolo
Trunks
Buu
Captain Ginyu
Android 18
