Template:Infobox MLB retired Ronald "Coom Dawg" Coomer (born November 18 1966 in Crest Hill, Illinois) is a former first baseman and third baseman in Major League Baseball who had a 9-year career from 1995 to 2003. He played for the Minnesota Twins and New York Yankees, both of the American League, and the Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Dodgers, both of the National League.

Coomer was elected to the American League All-Star team in 1999 with the Twins.

During baseball season, he is a baseball analyst for FSN North, the Minnesota Twins' primary television broadcaster.
