Welcome!

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions.

Currently, you are editing without a username. You can continue to do so, as you are not required to log in to Wikipedia to read and edit articles; however, logging in will result in a username being shown instead of your IP address (yours is 212.183.136.192). Logging in does not require any personal details, and there are many other benefits for logging in.

When you edit pages:

  • Please respect others' copyrights; do not copy and paste the contents from webpages directly.
  • Please use a neutral point of view when editing articles; this is possibly the most important Wikipedia policy.
  • If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
  • Do not add unreasonable contents into any articles, such as copyrighted text, advertisement messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Adding such content or editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism.

The Wikipedia Tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. For now, if you are stuck, you can click the edit this page tab above, type {{helpme}} in the edit box, and then click Save Page; an experienced Wikipedian will be around shortly to answer any questions you may have. Also feel free to ask a question on my Talk page. I will answer your questions as far as I can! Thank you again for contributing to Wikipedia./wangi 13:59, 29 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your edit to Scotland Article→(Economy - this is a copyright violation by a banned user)

I reverted this edit on two grounds, First of all it was a trifle clumsy, and removed the main redirect and opening phrase of the first sentence. Secondly, whilst I do not pretend to to understand the details of image upload the user who uploaded the file seems to be Astrotrain who is (to my surprise) currently blocked (although not banned). If you would care to drop me (or Talk:Scotland) a short note explaining what you think is wrong with the image I'd be happy to pass your concerns along and either remove or suggest the removal of the image. Feel free to do so yourself of course, although others may assume vandalism unless you provide a carefully worded edit summary. I am afraid there is no shortage of AnonIP vandal visitors to the article. Regards, Ben MacDui (Talk) 19:25, 19 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

June 2007

Please stop. If you continue to blank out (or delete portions of) page content, templates or other materials from Wikipedia, as you did to Nick Martin, you will be blocked from editing. *Cremepuff222* "As cool as grapes..." 21:57, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make any unconstructive edits, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant warnings.

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Mary Elizabeth Winstead has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Use the sandbox for testing; if you believe the edit was constructive, ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing. Thanks. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Cell (biology), did not appear to be constructive and has been removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you.
