why delate my article on prof. Albrecht ?

Hi! This is a copy of what I wrote on my talk about my article. My name is Thomas Hardy, I'm a french student in archeology and I'm going to a summer camp excavation in Israel next week. I'm sorry if my user name raised some confusion, I guessed I lacked of imagination. Prof. Albrecht is the professor conducting the excavation and I just made a little bio about him, based upon the information I have, as I found nothing about him on the web (I don't know him yet, as he is living in Israel). I don't know the Ezida foundation myself (I was just quoting the excavation presentation I've got), and I'll be glad to have more information about it too ! It's my first contribution to wikipedia, what can I do to fix the problem my article raised ? Thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ezidafoundation (talkcontribs)

Source Citing Issues

You put something around "Foot type", mentioned something about that article not citing sources or not being referenced. Can you verify information, please, about that?

I'm surprised at the complete lack of response on this one. Any advice as to why my case isn't compelling? Or even interesting enough to comment on?Kww (talk) 22:44, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I have no idea what tl;dr means, so I am unable to act on your advice.Kww (talk) 22:51, 3 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion

Hi I wrote an article called Divine Intervention (board game) and its been proposed for deletion. I'm still a bit new to Wikipedia and that's my first article but I see no reason why it should be deleted. It is a genuine game that I have bought but not very popular so not many people may know about it. If possible I would be very grateful if you could offer me some help on how to fix it up so it meets Wikipedia's standards. Please get back to me on my page. Thanks a million,

Thanks I appreciate you giving me the heads-up, especially since there is reason to believe that I would contradict you. I wouldn't be surprised nor particularly sad if this gets deleted. —Justin (koavf)TCM☯ 20:16, 4 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Crystal Hammer

Per a comment at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Untitled Shirley Manson solo album, I like the term "Crystal Hammer" to refer to your essay. You should create a WP:CRYSTALHAMMER shortcut. Related to this, have you considered submitting this to WP:NOTABILITY or some other policy/guideline? I think it's a great idea, but the fact WP:HAMMER is only an essay means someone who really wants to see an article on Joe Blow's 32nd Album kept could argue that it's an invalid AFD rationale since it's not "official". 23skidoo (talk) 05:09, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Geez...

Geez, I know that this isn't the brightest light on Wiki here, but could you calm down about it? I spent 30 minutes making that (even though there's scarcely any info on it). If you delete it now, no-one else will get to edit and make it prosper, just like this, this, this, this, and a couple others. Please, get rid of the tag. --RoryReloaded (talk) 20:58, 5 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I Hope You Dance

I was going by the Whitburn book, which lists the song only under Lee Ann Womack's chart history, crediting Sons of the Desert as "backing vocals." Eric444 (talk) 13:50, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You're right; I dug out an old Billboard chart which lists the song as "Lee Ann Womack With Sons Of The Desert." Eric444 (talk) 13:55, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Glimcher Realty Trust was a coincidence, but this one isn't. Horselover Frost (talk) 19:01, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Jessi Colter

Could you please revert the Jessi Colter page back to the following edit Here. Thanks, it's another one of those fans, who hijacked the article, and it's shame to see someone completley ruin what I worked so hard on after I fixed the article from the mess it was in before. Thank you. Dottiewest1fan (talk) 20:03, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for reverting the page! Dottiewest1fan (talk) 23:59, 7 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Mutt Lange

Thanks I'm personally not a big fan of nicknames in article titles, though (if "Mutt Lange" is his most-common name, why not just move it to "Mutt Lange?") —Justin (koavf)TCM☯ 21:28, 6 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

One Day at a Time

I see that you've added a request for an infobox on One Day at a Time (song). However, I think in this case it's not entirely appropriate since the article is more about the song than a specific version of it. The article lists 4 notable versions, so obviously all different labels, producers, song times etc, so it would be hard to decide which version gets a box. It could be argued I suppose that the original should get the box, but I think it's not the most significant version or the most well known, but I could be wrong. Unwrapped steel

I found it because the nominator asked why it hadn't been closed in nine days at WT:AFD and I didn't check the state of the article. Hut 8.5 18:57, 8 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, your close was fine. I'll leave a note for the nominator telling them to send redirects to RFD in future. Hut 8.5 19:04, 8 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your awfully knee jerk desire to delete the "Batman's career timeline" article challenged

Batman is one of the most iconic, recognizable characters in all of comics. He has been around since 1939 and has had numerous adaptions made about him (via animation, live-action television and film, and video games). It would do the character more good (in terms of serving as a relatively important history lesson) than you could imagine to showcase a "career timeline" through all of the important eras/ages in the comics. Besides, if you're going to delete this article about Batman's career timeline and more importantly, his evolution as a superhero/crime fighter, then you might as well do the same about the article entitled "History of Superman". Hi there. Happened to come across this. It was prodded, but the prod was removed without much change. It's apparently about Rihanna's latest single, but I'm not quite sure as to whether it should have its own article. Whatcha think? Cliff smith talk 17:15, 10 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
