Western High School is a Broward County Public School located in Davie, FL. The Principal is Scott Fiske. The school's mascot is the Wildcat and the official colors are Black and Vegas Gold. The school was rated "B" as of 2006-2007, a downgrade from the previous "A" grade. The school has since then been upgraded to an "A" school for the 2008-2009 school year.[1] [2]

As of the 2007 school year, 2479 students are enrolled in Western High School. The enthnic breakdown is as follows: 69% White, 22% Hispanic, 4% Black, 3% Asian or Pacific Islander, and 2% Multiracial. [3]

Athletics
The school offers athletics in Football, Basketball, Tennis, Soccer, Colorguard, Swimming, Water Polo, Golf, Wrestling, Baseball, Softball, Track & Field, Cross Country, and Volleyball. They also have a Army JROTC program.
