Obolon Stadium is football stadium in the city of Kyiv, in Ukraine.

It is the home ground of FC Obolon Kyiv of the Ukrainian First Division.

The stadium is located on the northern fringes of the city not far from the Kyiv Metro railway station Heroiv Dnipra.

The stadium was opened in October 2002 with a Ukraine Premier League game Kryvbas.

In late 2006 construction began on the northern stand and was completed in the summer of 2008. This stand added 3,000 additional seats[2].

The ground will be used as a training facility for Euro 2012.

Other users of stadium

The stadium is used by FC Obolon Kyiv and has also been temporarily used by FC Arsenal Kyiv (2008).

The Ukraine under-21 team hosted an international game against Holland October 10, 2008.

The record attendance for a match at the ground is 3,500 between Arsenal Kyiv and Metalurh Donetsk on November 16, 2008.
