The Lowell-Dracut-Tyngsboro State Forest is a 1,140 acre recreational preserve overlapping the three Massachusetts towns of Lowell, Dracut and Tyngsborough. The Forest is maintained by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation, and overseen by the non-profit group "Friends of the Forest".ref>http://www.mass.gov/dcr/parks/northeast/ldtf.htm</ref>[1]

The official main entrance is at Trotting Park Road, Lowell, MA (parking available).[2]

Permitted recreations

Motorized vehicles are prohibited except for seasonal snowmobiles.
