The Harveytoons Show is a television series presenting theatrical animated cartoons produced from October 1950 until march 1962 and produced by Famous Studios, featuring Harvey Comics characters and series including: Casper the Friendly Ghost, Little Audrey, Tommy Tortoise and Moe Hare, Baby Huey, Herman and Katnip, and Modern Madcaps. The Film Roman version of Richie Rich has also been featured on the final season of The Harveytoons Show. The show it self contained 3 full cartoons and on 1 toontake a shorter version of cartoon. Show consultant was Jerry Beck.

In 2006, Classic Media released 52 of the 78 episodes produced on a four disc DVD set entitled Harvey Toons - The Complete Collection. The set is not actually complete though as most of the cartoons are missing credits and end titles. 42 are only in the show is ToonTake from and 16 short were left of the set and the last seson that mostly contained original TV product were in addition drooped from the set.[1]

Episodes

This is a complete episode guide for the Harvey Comics animation anthology series The Harveytoons Show. The show was made up from Famous Studio produced from the October 1950 until March 1962. The total product of theaterical cartoons during that peroud were 222 cartoons for wathever reason there only 165 cartoons included in full form appart from original theraterical titles. other cartoons were ether included as ToonTakes i.e shorter verion of those cartons and all in all 42 cartoons got such treatment or not inculuded at all or 16 cartoons, probably for un-PC reason or by plain oversight when the show were put together. All original TV product were ether form later Casper TV product and The Film Roman version of Richie Rich and the and those were mostly featured in the final season The Harveytoons Show. Of the episode on the show it self contained every episode included 3 full cartoons (theaterical or TV product) and 1 Toontake (theaterical or TV product).

DVD releases

In 2006, Classic Media released 52 of the 78 episodes produced on a four disc DVD set entitled Harvey Toons - The Complete Collection. The set were criticized and applauded by many animation fans and the original show consultant Jerry Beck as Classic Media didn't consult with him on making this DVD set. He stated on his cartoonbrew.com site that the 42 toontakes were originally made to let an episodes of the show fit the half-hour mark of the standard TV show and the 16 shorts that were not included at all were drooped for un-PC nature of those shorts and for some oversight in producing of the show the bases of this DVDs set. He said he would have liked them to include all those un-PC cartoons and the toontakes in full form. He and many other applauded though Classic Media though for very good picture quality of the shorts included. .[2][3]

The following should be helpful in finding which of the 8 disc sides will contain the specific season and episode you may wish to access. Seasons 5 and 6 are not found in the 4 double-sided disc collection in spite of the DVD set's HarveyToons: The Complete Collection title.
