Heliconia bihai (L.) L. (syn.: Musa bihai L., Heliconia aurea R. Rodr.) of Heliconiaceae family is an erect herb typically growing less than 1 m tall, native to Brazil (South America) and Hawaii.

Uses

It is a popular ornamental plant in hot regions with a humid climate.
