Tolmeita
Tolmeitha, Tolometa, or Tolmeita (Arabic طلميثة) is a small town in the northern Cyrenaica region of eastern Libya, some 110 km (70 m) east of Benghazi. Its name appears to be derived, through the Latin Tolmeta, from the Greek name of the classical city whose ruins are nearby, Ptolemais.
Interestingly, "[the ancient Libyan city of al-Marj[1]] had its own special currency, which was minted in the year 525 BC. It was found in the excavations of antiquities in the Museums of Tolmeitha and Cyrene."
