Benjamin Dass

Benjamin Dass (15 August 1706 – 5 May 1775) was a Norwegian educator and book collector. He was born in Herøy. From 1734 he was assigned headmaster at the Trondheim Cathedral School. Several of his school reforms were implemented in the Educational Act of 1739. Parts of his large book collection has later landed at the University Liberary of Trondheim.[1][2]
