Chris Addison is an award-winning writer, stand up comic and actor, with a career which has spanned over a decade. On the 8th May 2006 he won the Sony UK Radio Awards (Best Radio Comedy Show)for his show (The Ape That Got Lucky) His BBC radio work includes the anthropological lecture series The Ape That Got Lucky with Dan Tetsell, and the political satire The Department with John Oliver and Andy Zaltzman.

Addison also featured as Olly in both series of BBC television drama The Thick of It.

He recommends quieting noisome car journeys with a game of "don't speak till you see a man in a Fez".
